Job Description:
Job Title : IT Manager
Job Location : Bangalore
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidate will be responsible for managing the IT Team in Bangalore Office, reporting to the Global IT Manager, will be responsible for
the co-ordination and planning of the wide range of programs of work and new IT investments.
Working with the senior IT leadership team candidate will help set the IT technical strategy and work to make this a reality,
coordinating effort and resource across the different teams within the IT function.
• Ensuring services match the company growth ambitions and will both scale and have high availability for growth
• Coordinate across the Global IT Operations Team management to accomplish all assigned projects and tasks.
• Lead, coordinate and participate in key process improvements
• Manage the local team of Service Desk and IT Solutions Delivery Analysts
• Partner with the IT ServiceDesk Manager for escalations and handovers
• Partner with the IT Solutions Delivery Manager for escalations and handovers
• Perform risk management.
• Manage resource availability and allocation.
• Report program progress and risk for the local IT Team.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Ability to report and escalate to Senior Management as needed.
• Outstanding customer and client services engagement.
• Provide mentoring to the team.
• Responsible for providing detailed monthly program reports
• Help coordinate and implement 24x5 follow the sun IT ServiceDesk.
• Identify, manage and improve KPI’s
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred with a focus in Information Technology.
• 5 years’ experience in Team Management role.
• Experience in strategic planning and execution.
• Effective leadership skills.
• Solid technical background would be useful with experience in:
• Microsoft 365
• Google GSuite
• Microsoft Azure
• Cisco & Meraki technologies
• Outstanding client facing and internal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
• Solid organisation skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
